Treasures of the Faith kicks off at Cathedral, Tri-Cities next on June 7 (Photos)

On March 1 and 2, people from around the Spokane metro area gathered at the Cathedral in downtown Spokane for the first installment of the Eucharistic Revival: Treasures of the Faith—a traveling and local initiative of the Diocesan Eucharistic Revival. The evening began with a talk on Eucharistic Miracles from emergency physician Dr. Scott French. There was then a substantial time for adoration, confession and intercessory prayer. The director of Prince of Peace Newman Center at the University of Washington in Seattle, Father Marcin Szymanski OP, led a meditation on the Eucharist during adoration. The diocesan Eucharistic Miracles exhibit was on display in the basement theatre room of the Cathedral, and participants were welcomed to venerate a relic of Bl. Carlo Acutis that the Dominicans brought.

The next Treasures of the Faith will be in the Tri-Cities at St. Patrick Church in Pasco on June 7, 2024.
