Historic NuVu to show Cabrini, St. Joseph open for prayer, veneration of Cabrini relic

METALINE FALLS—The Historic NuVu Showhouse in North Pend Oreille County will host four showings of Angel Studio’s Carbini film from March 15-17, 2024.

March 15 - 7:00 p.m.

March 16 - 3:00 p.m. | 7:00 p.m.

March 17 - 3:00 p.m.

St. Joseph’s Church in Metaline Falls will be open following each showing for prayer and veneration of the relic of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. The church is a few blocks away at 406 Park St, Metaline Falls, WA 99153.

NuVu Showhouse opened in 1952 and is still independently operated. It is among the small number of independent movie theatres left in the country. Metaline Falls is an old mining town near the Canadian border, with a population of about 275. It has several historic buildings, including a home designed by Spokane architect Kirkland Cutter, who also designed the Spokane Club and the Historic Davenport Hotel.

Tickets can be purchased in-person at the ticket counter.
