Part Six: The Same Jesus

"Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and, see, I am with you always, even to the end of the world." ~ Matthew 28:20

The Eucharist • Homecoming • Healing • An Invitation

"The same Jesus we met in Lourdes is present in every tabernacle back home."

As I stood there praying, I was struck by one simple truth.

The Jesus we encountered in Lourdes is the same Jesus waiting for us back home.

He is present in every tabernacle.

He waits patiently in Eucharistic Adoration.

He continues to invite each of us into healing, not always physical healing, but always the deeper healing of our hearts.

Pilgrimage is not only about traveling to holy places.

It is about allowing God to draw us closer to Himself.

As beautiful as Lourdes is, perhaps the greatest lesson it offers is this: we do not have to travel to France to encounter Christ.

He is already waiting for us.

Will we visit Him?
